WHY THIS EXISTS

Five puzzles. Then leave.

Brain Rot Chess is an experiment in replacing automatic scrolling with one small, finite act of concentration. There is no feed to exhaust, no ads to dodge, and no reason to stay after the session ends.

Built for beginners too

You can tap pieces, see legal destinations, ask for progressive hints, retry freely, and learn notation through the board instead of being expected to understand codes like Bxf7+.

Open chess knowledge

The growing puzzle library uses the Lichess open puzzle database under CC0. Every imported line is validated before it enters the app, and players can report anything that still looks wrong.

Beta principle

Keep the product narrow: puzzles, useful guidance, honest progress, and an ending.
